How did I decide to do birth Photography?

When I started photography I never thought I would be a newborn photographer much less a community of wonderful clients who support me. I added Fresh 48's about two years ago which was one of the best decisions I've made. I love the pureness of the session and how much love you can feel in the pictures. I've thought about birth photography for about a year and half now, but having three kids who depend on me which has made it hard to take the jump to dive into the birth photography world. My sweet friend reached out wanting me to photograph her home birth and I jumped right in and did the dang thing. I was so honored to be the photograph her home birth. It honestly sparked this joy in me that I can actually photograph moments like this for my clients. I will most definitely be adding this to my business! I'm not sure how many I will be able to take on, but I'm so excited for this journey!
